I was told 'unofficially' over a week ago it was happening, but not when.

I am so pleased we finally won the battle, and it is all down to the help I received from our local councillor Mike Leddy, without him we would still be struggling.

Just to let everyone know, we are having a little 'get together' on Sunday 13th December at 12 noon until 2pm (approx). There will be mulled wine and mince pies and a few other nibbles. All Association members welcome (and their families). Food and drink donations welcome (but not too many mince pies please).

It's hard to go wrong with pumpkin soup. It's delicious! It's proven so popular I have to give some to the peeps at work when I bring some in for my lunch.

Off to Oz on 1 December, returning on 30 December, so I'll make sure you get christmas cards and think of you while either basking in 30+ or running for my life from Bushfires! Hoping to pop in before I go, but at the moment, in bed with swine flu - at least I'll be over it in time for the hols.
