Having spent many years working as a graphic designer, Lisa has just joined the NHS  working at a local Hospital.

Lisa is a keen swimmer as well as dedicating much of her time to working her allotment and fulfillling the role of the Secretary to this site.

Lisa was pivotal in turning the site around, earning the award of Secretary of the Year by Birmingham Council Allotments Section and The Robins Trophy for Most Improved Site in 2007, and by 2008 the site was fully let for the first time with a waiting list.

Lisa is now a member of the BDAC Executive Committee.

Mr & Mrs - and both now happily retired. John worked for a well known motor distributor in Birmingham before retiring and taking on 2 allotment plots with Joyce.

Sometimes having visits to the allotments by their grandchildren, they are usually accompanied to the allotments by Betsy (the dog).

Having just retired, they joined us in July 2006 and as well as working very hard on their plots they soon  joined in with working parties, working very hard to help clear the site of rubbish before joining the committee.

Sprout has been a plot holder for a number of years and is a valuable committee member and store manager. He is a keen volunteer on site who helps out where he can.

As well as being a knowledegable gardener he is also a keen fisherman.

Terry joined us in early 2008, taking on his allotment  as part of his rehab plan, following heart surgery, with plenty of enthusiasm. Keen to get involved, he joined the committee and has since proved to be a valuable member, with his keen sense of community spirit.

Away from the allotments, Terry spends time with family, sometimes playing rounders in the park next to the site.

Keith spent many years working at Longbridge, now retired, he spends a lot of his spare time on his plot. He has been on the committee for a number of years . Originating from Jamaica he has introduced a different way of gardening, bringing with him an exotic range of produce to the site.
